1. Purpose
These terms govern the sale, by To be completed, of Tellustory's paid offers: the subscription, which extends sync, and the licence for the desktop app. The mobile app is free and is not concerned. A purchase made on Google Play, the App Store, the Microsoft Store or the Mac App Store is also subject to that store's terms, as the store collects the payment.
2. The offers
The content of each offer and its limits — number of synced books, devices, storage space — are described on the Pricing page at the time of the order; they are the ones the service applies. The free offer remains available with no time limit.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. The subscription is offered monthly or yearly; the desktop licence is a one-time purchase. The applicable price is the one shown at the time of the order; a price increase on a running subscription is announced before it applies, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
4. Order and payment
The website sells nothing: ordering and payment happen in an app store and follow that store's process, the store collecting the payment; your card details are never passed to us. The store sends you a receipt.
5. Duration and cancellation of the subscription
The subscription renews automatically for the same period, month or year. You can cancel it at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, at no cost. A subscription is cancelled in the store where it was taken. When the subscription ends, the account returns to the free offer: nothing is erased, and your books stay whole on every device.
6. The desktop licence
The desktop licence is a one-time purchase that grants the right to use the desktop app on up to three computers. It is tied to your account and follows that account from one platform to another. A free thirty-day trial comes before the purchase. Sync remains governed by your account's offer.
7. Right of withdrawal
You have fourteen days from subscribing to withdraw from a subscription, without giving a reason, by writing to To be completed. If you asked for the service to start before the end of that period, the amount for the time already elapsed remains due. The desktop licence is digital content supplied immediately: by asking for its activation before the end of the period, you acknowledge losing your right of withdrawal. A purchase made in an app store follows that store's refund process.
8. Warranties
You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services provided by the French Consumer Code. Any defect can be reported to To be completed.
9. Complaints and mediation
Any complaint can be sent to To be completed. Failing an amicable solution within two months, a consumer may refer the matter, free of charge, to the consumer mediator: To be completed (To be completed).
10. Personal data
The data needed for an order is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. A consumer keeps the protection granted by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
